About oxygen bomb:
The main reason of oxygen bomb leakage of automatic oxygen bomb calorimeter is that the elasticity of rubber band of each part is not good or the contact is not tight caused by wear of parts. The rubber band of the oxygen bomb lost its elasticity because it was used for a long time and the rubber band was aging and needed to be replaced at this time; the other reason was that the rubber band was too dry, especially in the north. If it is used for a long time (especially if it is screwed too tightly each time), it will cause wear and tear, resulting in poor contact and air leakage. Calibration of calorimeter
Calibration: the national standard material benzoic acid is dried in a drying oven at 65 ℃ for 3 hours. After cooling to room temperature, press the cake weight within 0.9-1.1 g. weigh the cake like benzoic acid and put it into the oxygen bomb. Install the ignition wire on the electrode to make the middle of the ignition wire contact with benzoic acid. Fill 10 ml of pure water in the oxygen bomb, cover the upper cover, and flush with 3Mpa oxygen for more than 15 seconds. Be careful Put it into the instrument and select the heat capacity
